I don't post often, but I'm here almost every day.

You are such an inspiration and such a strong person.

You and your baby are in my daily prayers. Everyday you are

closer to holding her in your arms. It must be such a relief to get

that good news from your Dr.

YEAH !!!

I wish I lived next door so you could come over and lay on my couch.

I'm surprised that you didn't hear my sigh of relief all the way from

WI. Enjoy your outing and sitting up!! Keep us updated and hand in

there.

Hi ,

Thank you so much. You have been so wonderful. Did you walk around with your cerclages? Do you remember your measurements. I was 3.7-4 at the beginning, and down to 2.6 before the cerclage. I am up to 3-3.5 now. 3 when they press the belly during the TVS. I am not dielated at all. Do you think my doc was ok to give me two hours a day up? Honestly, I could not do the two hours. it is too hard after over a month in bed.

Plase email me privately with your phone number. I owe you a call to hear what is happening with you!

Thanks Audrey,

You too. Very promising that you have had some results. I am not a huge believer of alternative medicine, but this seems to be working. I am not sure if you remember, but a few years ago on the news there was something about this. (I know we watch the same news, as we live nearby) Anyway, they were doing soem stomach massage to woman with long term infertility. Many of them were pg after a few months of massage. I am sure it was on Channel 4 News. You can perhaps try to contact them for the story, or use their archives?

First, I am so happy to hear that your cervix is doing better than

before surgery. Also, congrats on reaching the magical week 24 when

your baby is " technically " a viable person (although we all want her

to be fully cooked before we hear about how gorgeous she is).

But, I was wondering about your comment to that you can't do

the 2 hours up. Is it emotional or physical? I just read a book on

pregnancy after a loss and realized how tortuous my next (hopefully)

pregnancy will be, especially knowing now I have incompetent cervix,

not just the risk of it. I am unsure emotionally whether I will be

able to do anything but stay in bed next time. My last pregnancy I

had been mostly in bed from week 13 to week 20 recovering from 2nd

and 3rd degree burns on my back, and had had quite a physically

exhausting week during week 22, so my mind tells me that maybe the

pregnancy went as long as it did because I didn't do anything those

weeks (and the logical conclusion is maybe it would have gone longer

if I had stayed in bed). I realize this is silly, but because no one

was monitoring me I feel like I'll never know. I know I will feel

better with better monitoring and cerclage, but I'm wondering how the

anxiety is for you. I am interested in hearing more from someone in

the middle of it right now.

I'm also curious if you got bathroom and or shower priveliges before

he allowed you to be upright.

I'm sure your peri would not let you out of bed those hours if it was

not okay (timing the number of hours makes him sound VERY specific

and protective of you and baby). But if it wears you out physically

or causes you too much anxiety, stay in bed!! You'll have plenty of

time to be up when she's out.

Please keep us well posted on your pregnancy, your story brings such

hope. I am so glad you get to go through this being so well

monitored. Take care of your little one.

Hi ,

I am so happy you are reading those books. They helped during my last loss a lot. I am physically and emotionally not able to do the time up. I no longer have the strength physically...I have been on modified since week 4. I also emotionally am nervous that I am doing damage. I always had shower and bathroom priveledges. Most do not when their situation got out of control due to low level of monitoring.

Feel free to ask away. I will surely be there for you whenever you need it!

Feel free to email me susiekunin@....

Keep the faith,
