I'm in northern Illinois and we have salads at Burger King, too. I think

ours in on the menu, though, I'll have to pay more attention next time,

LOL. If I'm not mistaken the side salad is on the 99 cent menu...

Our BKs have salads, but I personally don't care for them. I prefer the McD's salads over BK and I really prefer the 's salads over all of them!

And I have a confession, I have never tried the Mc's Salad Shakers. Does anyone know if they are any good?

I like the Garden Salad, but personally, I don't really think any of them are a very good value for the money.

I ordered 2 of the chicken caeser salads from McD's the first time i tried

em and waited til i got home to eat....i dumped (sounds delicious doesn't

it...'dumped' lol) them in a large bowl and ate both of them, but i was way

too full after...now i buy one and eat it with a bottle of water and its

plenty! : )

I usually get my McD's chicken salad while i'm out and about; either out

shopping, taking a friend to chemo, today i got one on my way home from

taking my son to the dr (poor lil guy, his hands are sooo sore,

discolored-almost looks like he's been burned...he has ezema (sp?!?!)), i

bring mine home with me and eat it here...i don't know how you's that eat it

outta the shaker mix it up...the ones here, they pack em to the top...i know

they're called SHAKErs....but to try and shake em would be useless....they're

packed!!! Here in Western NY (and maybe other places too) we have the best

bleu cheese dressing....called Rooties....its delishhhh! Dump it in a bowl

with 2 T of dressing and VOILA.....enjoy!!!!!! YUM!!!

them into the cups at YOUR McD's like they do here, you won't be able to get

the dressing on, the lid back on, and shake them. Ask for a plate (like they

serve their breakfasts on) and dump it on it.

Burger King used to have an excellent grilled chicken salad, but I've noticed that they've quit carrying them at their restaurants in the south (yes, I've asked for them.) Maybe those of us who are deprived can write to them and request that they bring back their salads. 's has a new line of salads that are really good and Dairy Queen just started offering a Crispy Chicken salad. Granted, the chicken is breaded, but it's better than a burger and fries and it's YUMMY!

I am with you....I live in Alabama and we do not have salads here at

BK either! But like another list member posted, I am for now,

enjoying 's salads for the time being. And I have a confession,

I think it may be an individual Burger King thing. Around here (Southern Ontario) some have them and some don't. Same with Taco Bell, there is one in the area that does not have Taco Salads. Mc's however does NOT have salads anymore here (in Canada) at any of their restaurants. I find that unbelievable.

I have done the Mc's salad shakers and liked them. I usually get the

chicken Caesar and ask for ranch dressing instead of the Caesar.

I am going to try one of those....maybe for lunch tomorrow. I just

never thought that little cup would fill me up, but then again, I do

eat less nowadays. Thanks for the advice and I'll let you know what

LOL, Keisha, I never said the little cup would fill you up, just that I

liked what was in it. LOL Try it and see, you may find that because the

little cup is packed fairly well it does fill you up. Then again, you may

have to order 2, LOL.

Somebody understands me!!! LOL I saw the commercial and kind of

looked at it like what would I do with that!!!?? LOL I know we are

all " dieting " but I still have to get my fill of food, whatever it

is! LOL But when it comes to salad, I am not very picky! Before

this woe, I rarely even ate salad so I do well when on induction to

eat them!! LOL And they are really quick to stop by a drive-thru

and get, so thats why they win out lots of lunch hours! And

please lets hope I can stop at one! But knowing me....

I second that - I always get the Ranch dressing with them, though - I could eat them every single day. I can even turn up my nose at french fries when I'm eating a Chicken Caesar Salad Shaker

What salad dressings do you guys eat at Mcs or Burger King? I havent eaten there meat either because I was not sure if there are fillers in their meat. I'd like any input on the burgers at Mc's and Burger King!!
