Guest guest
Sister, Have you ever made a giant 12" round Atkins Roll and used it as a pizza crust? Just wondering if that thought had occurred to you yet, and if so, how it worked out. Curious minds want to know. Guest guest
Not what you were asking about at all, but I have this recipe and I've always wondered about making it into a deep dish kind of pizza. I love it, but it's a little bit on the dry side. I've also considered getting rid of the cheeses and using some almond flour and making a cobbler. I've just never " experimented " yet. Pat 1/2 the dough into the bottom of a 9 " pan(spray with cooking spray first) then put on the beef, top with remaining dough and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown on top. note: Instead of the SPI baking powder and xanthan gum, you could use bakemix. I'm pretty sure that is what the original recipe used. Guest guest
Sister, and others Matter of fact, I have used Atkins Roll for crust. I did not make a big one, but a little one. It did not turn out just right, I think I needed to bake it longer and it stuck to the pan. I think I need to do more field testing. I will get back to you on this matter.
