Thank you Jeanne. My appointments went fine. I am now pre-registered at the

hospital, they took blood and I had an EKG. Then I got to meet with a nurse

from the bariatrics program and after that the dietitian. WOW, they

recommended Carnation Instant Breakfast and we all know how " good " that is

for us -- NOT. I listened and then I'm going to do what I have learned from

all of you and thank you , big time, your advice worked. This week I

will try to get everything taken care of here at home then next Saturday I

will go back to San where I will stay with my friend, , before and

after surgery. I will be on " no mail " for about 10 days -- my angel is Janet

from Nevada, she will keep you updated. I will also be in contact with Janet

B. and B. from this area so they can help relay information. Wow, how

about that 3 angels. I am excited but getting nervous, it hit me at the

hospital yesterday that I'm have surgery a week from Monday. The crazy

dreams have also started. Anyone have any great ideas on how to get thru the

next week?

Very cool. The smile & nod technique worked?

You got both of the original Janets? Is that to confuse my old brain?

Yes, the nod and smile worked great. No, not the original Janets. My #1

angel is Janet from formally Sparks, NV, she has moved down the road a piece

and is in, I think, Fallen, NV. The other Janet is from here in Sacramento

(she lives about a half a mile from me), she has had a hard time finding a

protein she can drink without getting sick. I gave her some Whey Stack.

stay busy, , or at least keep your mind busy. You'll lose some sleep

probably, but will make up for it post-op. I'm so excited for you. One week to

go!

Thanks . By the way, I do cross stitch. I have a project I haven't

finished in many years. I also had over 500 e-mails to read today after

being gone for 3 days. I have quite a few appointments this week as well as

shopping and packing since I will be gone for a week and a half. I'm trying

to keep as busy as possible so I don't have to think about it.

,

Last thing, you might want to go onto yahoo groups and put your mail to

" read from the internet " or whatever it's called. That way your mailbox

won't fill up and bounce messages. We're a gabby bunch <G>, Best of

luck, if we don't speak before you go.

Just a thought.
