Guest guest
Hi, I am " just the patient, " and " just the mother of one, " as one of my adult cf friends says, but we chose to get rid of the plants (here in California, one can just move most of them outdoors), that is get them out of the house as pseudomonas does grow in soil, and mold does as well, neither of which our children or those of us with cf, really need. One of the Yeast-spore-mold family, Aspergillus can be very dang- erous and cause a lot of problems, especially in people with cf. I don't think that I have gone overboard and steam cleaned the house or Chlorinated the walls, but it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get a hepa-filter air cleaner for his bedroom and a vacuum cleaner that sucks the dust into a holding tank of water instead of spewing it back out into the room. I'd best stop before I even get really wound up. I hope that this helps, n Rojas wcf, mom of 3, 1 wcf, and one heck of a clean house!
