Hi Gang!!!

I have my first appt scheduled with the dietician!!! YAY!!! 2/11.

My PCP just got off the phone with me. Now he said to me something I

found interesting. He said I could contact the person at Richmond

Bariatrics Kaiser myself and get literature mailed to me. Has anyone

done this?

Also my PCP said he contacted the Psych people and no one has called

yet to schedule me an appt. He wants to give that another week then I

call him back.

Also my PCP said that Kaiser is now wanting a 6 month monitored diet

plan before the referral for surgery is done?? Maybe I miss

understood him? Anyone else hear this? I have done WW in the past

and worked with a nutritionalist at my gym, etc. Are we to show proof

that we did this, or is it our word they take?

Well those are my questions for now.

I have been reading all the posts and have been getting so much

information already from all of you! I am SO glad I found this

support group. My new home.....
