Hi ,

Yep, I remember you saying the 25 mg was too much. My 50 mg was

stupid I know, but the last thing I expected was this to occur. You

expect the detox symptoms and perhaps them becoming too intense from

too big a dose, but not this abdominal problem to occur and not go.

That is something nobody can explain properly.

There are explanations for what " might " have occured. Pooling of

mercury in the intestines and liver, causing severe abdominal cramps

was one doctor's view on what " can " occur with DMSA. It sounds

probable, but again, where's the proof? Or simply a bad fungal

infection in the gut has occured.

Whatever it is, I'm in pain constantly and it feels like continual

pressure and bloating all the sametime as spasms and aching. Very

odd. Certainly no amount of candida has done this to me, so if it is

yeast, it's been a localised infection that's set up in my gut area.

I have tried small doses of DMSA again (a while back) to see if I

could chelate out what might have happened, but the pain just got

worse it seemed. DMPS might be an option for me yes. I'm enquiring

already as to where I can get DMPS capsules. I live in New Zealand.

As of right now, I'm trying charcoal capsules, as someone suggested

on here to try and see if that might pick up whatever toxins/metals

might be trapped in that area. might not work, but it's worth a try

and it's harmless. Certainly I can't see that doing anymore damage.

I'm wary of ALA, because I don't know for sure if my gut problem is

yeast or not, and ALA is pretty notorious for worsening that. DMPS

out of all of them seems the safest in that regard. I just cannot

work out how this could have happened. Is it possible that mercury

was redistributed into the gut area and has caused pain/bloating etc?

even inflammation? I'm darned if I know.

Thanks for your suggestion though!
