Helen Keller Hi Kathy I have throughout MSA had periods of irregular heartbeats. I think it goes with the territory. At times my ECGs, (heart checks) have been abnormal and then next day quite normal. I have also had two minor heart attacks purely through the message not coming from the brain to tell it to beat. One time they put an anginine patch on me. It had an awful effect, severe headache etc ( we are not good with stimulants) Normally, though I have a very healthy heart. The problem only occurs when the messages from the brain don't get through. I remember we did have a group member that had a pace maker put in. Then 12 years later it had to be removed and it was found that she didn't need it. So the same thing must have occurred. They thought she had a heart problem at the time. If there is also swelling in the legs and feet though he should have a good medical to check out the heart and coronary arteries. Hi Everyone, Has anyone with MSA had problems with an irregular heartbeat? My husband, , developed an irregular heartbeat in November. The doctor put him on
