Guest guest
I forget where I read this; it is something about the most natural replacement schedule. It is based on a paper by Hindman or Hindash or something like that in a medical journal for kids who have no adrenal function at all (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia) and if there levels get too high they dont grow; if too low their body makes way too much testosterone so it is a real fine balancing act. Here is the ddose scheudle THEY say 33% of total daily dose at 3am 30% of tltal daily dose at 7am 22% of total daily dose at noon 15% of total daiy dose at 5pm hope that helps...just another idea of this is supoosed to mimic it as closely as posssible for these kids; maybe it will help someone? I used to use this schedule (obviuolsy you have to round a little, there is no way you can get 33% of a 5mg tablet!) --- lindajaytee wrote: > > > > > Cortisol Dosage Schedule > > > > I'm currently reading the book Safe Uses Of > Cortisol by Jefferies and I > > found that he does have the same dosage 4 x 5mg > cortisol/day as does > > Andy, but the last dose of 5mg is taken just > before going to bed > > instead of before 4PM as Andy reccomends. > According to Jefferies, > > adrenal supression was not observed even with this > " unnatural " > > schedule.
