Guest guest
Hello everyone! I'm new to the process as well. I have my 3rd visit with the Dietician on Thursday. I've had the psyc eval and blood work. My biggest concern is nausea. I have a phobia of throwing up and have been trying to deal with this for a few years. The doctor has identified where it stems from, but I still suffer with it. I know a few people that have had the surgery and they say they get sick when they overeat. It sounds so silly to be frightened over something so simple as throwing up, but I am. I really need this surgery though. At 40 years old, I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and just feel yucky. I have tried diet after diet and the weight always returns double. I commend all those on their successes and hope I can be of some support as well as gain support from this group. Thanks for having me! Guest guest
Hi C. You did not give us your name. I'm Elaina I'm 11 mo out(in 3 days). You only have to worry about getting sick if you eat to much or the wrong things. Let me tell you if you do the wrong thing you will only do it a few times. cause you will learn fast. it does not feel good. and if you do (and you will) just go back to the begining. Stage one drink tea and broth for a day or a meal and then soup and so on. after that just be nice to your tummy. everyone does it it is how you learn.
