Abdominoplasty - Insurance Precertification?

All,

I am a 07/22/01 BPD/DS patient of Dr. Elariny. I am down from 385 to

173. Before I start with my precertification for abdominoplasty (tummy

tuck) and other skin removal, I wanted to solicit advice on how to

proceed from those who have been there/done that. What are the specific

criterion the insurance companies use for deciding medical neccesity?

Any advice in insurance coverage for this is sought. Responses to my

email would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks!!
