Guest guest
Dear Barbara, My computer caught a kak virus this year from just opening an email and was transmitted in every email I sent. The trouble was I had a fault which meant I had to take the computer back to it's factory setting and although when it was up and running, I updated my virus protection, I forgot that I had also downloaded some security patches earlier in the year, which allowed the kak virus to get past the Norton anti-virus and infect the machine. Getting a virus did not turn out too troublesome as I found a site that not only cleaned out the virus, but changed the registry back as well, which is as long winded as Bill described. The site was www.getvirushelp.com/kak/ Best wishes Jill Lucas
