Guest guest
> To all my very dear friends in the group, I miss you !! What fantastic news! Let's all chip in on a chamber at Lisbeth's place, gang, then we can all pile in on her for treatments........she's not on the list now so we can plot this behind her back, and out of the blue, we'll all just pile into her back yard...shhh, nobody tell! ; ) Liz G
Guest guest
This is from Lisbeth, she also had an addition which I am pasting at the bottom... --------------------------------------------- Hi everyone<warm smile> I think I need to expand on my posting regarding the Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment. I am concerned that people may be hoping for the same results that I got when not actually having the *exact* same treatment (or rather formula) that I did. I does make a difference! Firstly though I'd like to just mention that exercising with oxygen is NOT the same thing !! The key factor with the HBOT is that it is feed into the system under pressure. It is becoming apparent to me that there are lots of different types of HBOT on offer in the States and it would seem that .... " you get what you pay for " could well apply here. Having said that I do know of one clinic that charges much less for the 'ultimate' treatment, but somehow I don't think there will be too many like that around :-(( So...............my regimen was: Treatment every day except Sundays (26 treatments) This was determined by cost, I would have had more had I been able to afford it. Depth: 10 metres (33 ft) ATM 2 Time on oxygen: 95 minutes which was divided into 2 lots with a 5 min break inbetween (off oxygen) to prevent toxicity Here are some general guidelines: Every case needs to be assessed on an individual basis but roughly speaking the treatment regimes go as follows: 2.5 - 7.5 meters for brain injuries 10 metres for everything else. 20 metres for the very sick. i.e. carbon monoxide poisoning, decompression sickness. The deeper you go the more pressure which in turn means more oxygen. There is a formula they use to work all this out which I can give anyone who is interested. For best results it is recommended that the the initial treatment be every day as it has an accumulative effect. Two or three treatments per week would be considered a maintanence dose. Hope this clarifies things and good luck to all of you who are trying it. hugs, lisbeth --------------------------------------------- Firstly though I'd like to just mention that exercising with oxygen is NOT the same thing !! ..... If HBOT is not an option then certainly exercising with oxygen is a good second option. The difference is that with the HBOT the oxygen is feed into the system under pressure. The immune system and all physical functuons are being boosted by extra oxygen. --------------------------------------------- ph A. Graff Director of Digital Prepress Graphic Communications, Inc.
