TK--- they are two totally different tests Okay -- I guess what I'm asking is, it seemed pretty " obvious " that I had mercury poisining since I had it in my urine at high levels unprovoked; and not to have it at ALL in the hair tet -- that just means " bad mineral transport " right? I read in Andy's bbook - (pp 65-66) that lipoic acid helps with it too? (Is lipoic acid = ALA ) Does DMSA help with arsenic? Also, does arsenic have a thing like mercury where you have to wait 3 months or till the body burden goes down to use the ALA to get it out of the brain? Is the chelatinn scheduel the same? I just dont want to be doing the WRONG thing with chelating if I truly dont have a mercury probleme. TK--- You need to figure this out with testing [DDI hair elements analysis and using the counting rules] and trial chelation.
