Guest guest
I am mercury toxic and still have a mouthful of amalgams - 12 - which will be removed in the Spring. I have chronic fatigue, candida, hypothyroidism, hypoadrenalism - the usual stuff. I am very familiar with Andy's book. I have been seeing an alternative practitioner (who is not familiar with Andy's protocol) for vitamin infusions to help with the fatigue and general awful feeling. Yesterday and today - unbeknown to me - I received an infusion of ALA as part of a number of infusions, including Vitamin B. I had no side-effects from yesterday's but today, during the infusion, I had acute visual disturbances in my right eye, which meant I couldn't focus on my magazine or read. This stopped the instant the infusion ended, which was then followed by a Vit C infusion. I later got a big headache, which has now worn off, but I now have pronounced candida symptoms, and feel very cold, which has to be due to the ALA. No doubt the visual disturbances were the mercury pulling out of my brain, and now the candida symptoms suggest it is relocating to my gut. With a mouthful of amalgams I am not in a position to do DMSA. I assume it is a good thing that the ALA infusion was followed by a Vit C one. Can I do anything about the mercury redistribution, or count myself lucky that I have not had a worse reaction? Thanks.
