This was posted to another group I belong to.. Thought perhaps someone would benefit from it...

Hi everyone!

Tonight while working out I found out about a special that Curves is

offering, and worth checking out…

Curves is offering a special to new members:  $74.00 to sign-up for

the rest of the year, then start paying $39.00 a month starting

January 1st, 2004.  It normally cost $175.00 to be a member and

$39.00 a month.  This special is good throughout the month of

November.  They also offer a free one-week trail membership.

I joined Curves last month and really enjoy the environment, the

workout, the music and all the ladies I have met.  They weight and

measure you, and track your success.  It's lots fun, and I find

myself wanting to go more often the three days a week.

Curves is a gym for woman and offers a 30-minute workout!

For more information, phone numbers, or locations near you:

Good luck and much success to all!

Angie

I like Curves. I have gone there for over a year now and really enjoy it. I think you would need to add some weight lifting at home to your workout though.

I had my consult with Dr Baggs on December 11 2003 and I was scheduledfor the orientation then. I filled nothing out until yesterday at the orientation. I also received the Patient Information Binder. It is the same binder that is on the Richmond Bariatric web page in pdf format. If you haven't gone to your consult yet, start writing down every question that pops up, no matter how silly it may seems, to ask at your consult and/or the orientation. I found by doing this I had a lot of 'fears' calmed. Also, I wrote down the questions I couldn't answer that friends and family asked me. Good luck!On another note, I am thinking of joining Curves this weekend. Anyone have comments?Kerre> I don't go to orientation until March. Did you receive a packet to fill out from Richmond before the surgeon appt?> Carol
