Guest guest
I can't get this to post...... Hi, could anyone give feedback or explain or anything the hair test below. I'd appreciate it! I tried to look at counting rules and it looks like the first one applies to where there are too few above the line??? I can't tell other than that what this all means. Hair Elements by Doctor’s Data. Collected 3/13/06 POTENTIALLY TOXIC ELEMENTS element result ref range color ============================================== aluminum 4 < 7.0 green antimony <0.01 < 0.050 no line arsenic 0.061 < 0.060 green beryllium <0.01 < 0.02 no line bismuth 0.019 < 0.10 green cadmium .052 < .10 green lead .1 < 1.0 green mercury 0.07 < 1.1 green platinum <0.003 < .005 no line thallium < .001 < .010 no line thorium < .001 < .005 no line uranium .045 < .060 green nickel .09 < .4 green silver .05 < .15 green tin .06 < .3 green titanium 0.34 < 1.0 green TOTAL TOXIC REPRESENTATION (This doesn’t have any numbers by it, but has a line right about halfway in the green. The end of the green says 68th percentile, so I’m guessing that my number is 34th percentile) Also, when it is in the white below it is hard to tell whether that is under or over, so I just tried to look closely and guess. ESSENTIAL AND OTHER ELEMENTS element result ref range color under/over 50% ============================================================ Calcium 402 300-1200 green under Magnesium 36 35-120 green under Sodium 6 12-90 yellow under Potassium <3 8-38 red under Copper 17 12-35 white over Zinc 200 140-220 green over Manganese 0.04 0.15-0.65 red under Chromium 0.32 0.20-0.40 green over Vanadium 0.029 0.018-0.065 white under Molybdenum 0.025 0.028-0.056 yellow under Boron 0.51 0.30-2.0 green under Iodine 0.52 0.25-1.3 white under Lithium <0.004 0.007-0.023 red under Phosphorus 170 160-250 green under Selenium 1.2 0.95-1.7 white under Strontium 1.0 0.50-7.6 green under Sulfur 48700 44500-52000 green over Barium 0.23 0.26-3.0 yellow under Cobalt 0.007 0.013-0.050 red under Iron 7.9 5.4-14 white under Germanium 0.035 0.045-0.065 yellow under Rubidium 0.004 0.007-0.096 yellow under Zirconium 0.031 0.020-0.42 green under RATIOS (ON BOTTOM RIGHT OF PAPER) element RATIOS EXPECTED range ============================================================ Ca/Mg 11.2 4-30 Ca/P 2.36 1-12 Na/K 2 0.5-10 Zn/Cu 11.8 4-20 Zn/Cd >999 >800 Also why are my reference ranges different than the ones that were posted on the website? Isn’t the same reference ranges for everyone.???????? This is the website where I am getting how to post these from http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/HOW_TO_hair_test.html Questions I have: I had a previous urine test that showed high mercury. Why doesn’t this hair test show it. Also, arsenic was high on the urine test too. What do I do about Arsenic? This seems to be a problem, and I looked at the “sources of exposure” and have none that I know of! Also what do I do about these other toxic metals that have levels that are “detectable” which I don’t think is good aluminum arsenic (ALA will get this, right? Is it okay to wait till I can safely do ALA for mercury to treat the arsenic too? Or should I be doing something else in the meantime. bismuth cadmium lead (DMSA will “get” this, right?) mercury uranium nickel silver tin titanium Also what do I do about the really low elements? Potassium – my blood potassium is normal. However I do get muscle cramps and the potassium helps that when I take it as a supplement. Manganese, Cobalt (don’t know why this would be low or what to do) Lithium – same thing. And why is it so low it is below detectable. The Lithium and potassium really concern me being below detectable. WHAT can I do to increase my levels of these? --------------------------------- How low will we go? Check out Yahoo! Guest guest
Looks to me like you qualify for the counting rules as far as deranged mineral transport goes (17 or more above or below) Looks to me like adrenal fatigue is indicated by your potassium, sodium and calcium , magnesium. Other than that, I don't feel qualfied to say much more. You might want to consider getting Andy' Hair Analysis book. ~Inga > I can't get this to post...... > > > > Hi, could anyone give feedback or explain or anything the hair test > below. TK--- Use DMPS and avoid exposure
