Guest guest
I got my blood results from a different lab, and instead of my normal <0.01 result, it came back 1.78. I had great hopes that meant I was going into remission, but the new endo was acting really strange and not explaining the numbers to me. He said that the word " remission " was just semantics. I'm getting a different doctor. I got the results for myself, and notice that the range is different. Is it possible that the new lab uses different measure than the old lab? The old test's range was .40 - 4.0 uIU/ml - my result <.01 The new test's range is .47 - 6.9 uIU/ml - my result 1.78 Could my TSH have jumped back just like that, or am I looking at two different types of test results? Is there a way to translate one index into another? I'd appreciate if someone could clarify, as I'm anxious to see if this is an indicator that I am getting better! Thanks.
