Guest guest
Meg, To find a specialist in Nebraska, try going to this webpage: http://intranet.unmc.edu/roberttest/phyrefer.htm Fill out the form and put in the following info under additional information: movement disorders, multiple system atrophy, ataxia, dysphagia They should come up with a name in your general area. This is through the U. of Nebraska and they have been doing some stem cell research there. Anyone looking for a specialist in MSA should try their state University Medical Center first, long trips and MSA do not go well together. If you live on the border of another state and their University Medical Center is closer try the close one first. As long as there is no cure, it does not pay to spend huge sums of money to go a long distance for treatment. Even your primary care physician can often help with a call to a recognised specialist.
