i have had eleven spinal taps and none of them yielded any results. what a

waste of back pain and diziness. actually , i think i can perform one on

myself with the help of a mirror. (sheesh)

and i have had two doctors try to push the brain biopsy on me. no way!!

my mom was a bit weary of it and when we got a second opinion the doc said

it would be useless because it most likely will not give any results either.

hence, wasting an operation, opening my head and scraping my brain(that

graphic enough?)

Carrots, not that I am an expert I have had so many spinal taps that I have

lost count and even though they have always shown elevated protein and a few

eosonophils which shows inflammation aseptic meningitis as they would say

the only thing that really has kept the doctors jumping is because of my

hydrocephalus, I have had two brain biopsies and listen to your mom, maybe

as a total last resort have one because other than feeling like you have

been hit over the head with a hatchet most of the people I have talked they

have not shown anything that the MRI didn't show, and the lab work on the

CSF fluid. Don't give up hope though we all know how it feels til you get a

working diagnosis. Take care and remember that I will be thinking and

praying for you that there will be an answer soon. I am on

immunosuppressants I don't think I spelled that right but oh well but it

took time before they found the right meds for what was wrong with me, my

prayer will be that it will be swift for you. Your Friendly Texan, Jeanna
