Guest guest
, I found that I felt a lot better when I started to use alka seltzer gold, but I can't get it anymore. So I tried to make something similiar with things that I have. I mix up 1 tsp baking soda, 3/4 tsp citric acid (from the health food store), and sometimes add 1/8 to 1/4 tsp KCl (salt substitute). I add the KCl if it tastes good to me (sometimes I need it and sometimes I don't). The reason I use citric acid is because Andy has said that citrate helps with brain fog. Citric acid and salt taste really yucky to me. Citric acid and baking soda taste good. I do seem to go very low in both Na and K, and others might not have this problem. So, what works for me might not be a good idea for someone else. BTW, the baking soda might help to make the urine more alkaline, which may be a good thing (see Andy's hair test interpretation book, high pH urine helps to excrete cadmium and possibly helps to prevent metals from getting deposited in the kidneys).
