I lent my book to a friend. Isn't there something in rule 2 in the hair test book that says to count all the low results too? (Rule 1 counts all the high results, rule 2 counts all the low results, or something like that). If I'm not reading or remembering things right, it could be that this sickness that I have is messing with my brain again. I look once in a while -- and that once in a while could be every day or once in 3 weeks. Same on other lists. > > I lent my book to a friend. Isn't there something in rule 2 in the > hair test book that says to count all the low results too? (Rule 1 > counts all the high results, rule 2 counts all the low results, or > something like that). yes, but it is actually the same difference. Honest. I'll try to point it out (I'm not saying " take my word for it " ), but for some people I know that numeric concepts don't make a lot of sense -- thus I'm also wanting to tell you that this DOES make sense *to me*. Okay here is what the webpage says about " step 1 " : " If the number of items above 50% is 5 or less it indicates a high probability of abnormal mineral transport and it indicates a high probability of mercury poisoning. If the number of items above 50% is 18 or more it indicates a high probability of abnormal mineral transport and it indicates a high probability of mercury poisoning. " Andy has made the 2 " halves " of that into separate rules in the book. The 2nd " half " of the text above -- 18 or more OVER 18% -- is THE SAME as (in the book) 5 or less. There are 23 essential elements on a DDI hair test. So if someone has (for example) 18 items ABOVE 50%, then they also have 5 items below. I guess there is the detail that items that are EXACTLY 50% are counted differently using the 2 sets of directions. That is true, but it is " more minor " than the sameness I'm pointing out. Hope that helps to clarify. good wishes, Moria > > If I'm not reading or remembering things right, it could be that this > sickness that I have is messing with my brain again. > > Regards > > > > > > > > > STEP 2 on the web page matches " 3 " in the book. > > > > STEP 3 on the web page matches " 4 " in the book. > > > > Item 5 in the book is " new " .
