Guest guest
Have used both. I only lasted three weeks on the Biaxin as it made me sick from the awful metalic taste. Used zithro with doxi for almost five months. I would have horrible pain after each dose fo zithro. I was taken off of the zithro when I was diagnosed with H' Pylori and was put on the biaxin. I was told by the guidance couselor at school ( who was told by her internist) that if you take the biaxin with a hershy kiss it will knock the bad taste down. Now I am on doxi only ( everyday) and am doing great. Guest guest
, I had a series of Zithromax for my sore throat and swollen glands and although it took a few days to kick in, it worked wonders for me. Now I think I have the sore throat coming back so I'll see if I have to have another round of Zithro. Guest guest
, I don't think Zithromax helped me at all and in fact, I seem to be worse since going on it. My SED rate has gone up, my hemoglobin down, I feel more tired and am wondering if I'm flaring now. While taking it, (Jan 9-mid May), I found it caused stomach problems on the days I took it. But we're all different, and it may help you. Guest guest
Hi , Now that's interesting. Janene is taking Biaxin and thinks it smells and tastes very nice Dr. Joe Mercola thinks that our sense of smell is underused and we should take more notice of it. So perhaps Biaxin suits Janene and it wouldn't have suited you? Chris. On Fri, 9 Jun 2000, M Carroll wrote: > Have used both. I recently took Biaxin for a Sinus infection - metallic, poisonous taste was awful first few nights, then seemed to subside. No doubt it was there though - even called pharmacist about it. Guest guest
I have a friend that can take the biaxin with no problems but have friends who like myself almost had to almost quit taking the one cycle that they were to take for sinus infections it was so bad tasting. I lost my appetite while taking it and had problems eating due to the sicky feeling of my stomach and the wretched taste in my mouth. I have also read recently about the body letting you know what is dangerous for it, what it needs, and what aggrevates it by your sense of taste and smell. It was definately letting me know!
