Guest guest
Hi all, Thought you might get a smile out of something silly that happened last night(at the time it caught me right in the funny bone, and gave me a laugh I really needed). was walking into the living room and started to lose his balance. He has done this long before dx, its always been a problem, mostly, he has learned to catch his balance, or at least fall properly. Last night he stumble and stumbled some more. I was in the other room and yelled out, asking if he was ok. After a moment with no answer I yelled again, and started after him. He finally yelled back " I'm not done falling yet.. " This probably looses alot in the translation, but getting such an ridiculous answer while being frightened, I'm afraid I wasn't very gracious, I yelled back " well stop falling and answer me! " We both cracked up. No, he wasn't hurt, although he wound up on his face in the sofa. It was a long and discouraging day, he has a bad cold, his eyes weren't working (bleph) and he was very 'down' in general. The good news is that I forwarded him both of 's notes about reflux and about apnea, and he is now coming around to asking the neuro to have him tested.
