Hello! Just a quick update and some questions.

I've had RA for 2-1/2 years. Been on minocin for 2 years and

minocin/zithromax for 6 months. Dr. Franco initially predicted that it might

take 6 months for me to kick this thing, given my age (31 at the time) and

relative good health (which seems like a major joke now). Well, 2 years

later, I'm a mighty sick person. My pain, stiffness, fatigue, depression,

and overall YUCK feeling is much, much worse. I've been suicide-minded many

times. Three things keep me here: 1) my 2 precious little boys, who need

their mother (even a sick one), 2) even though my faith has definitely

waivered throughout this, I still believe that it's not up to ME to decide

when it's my time to go, and 3) my friends and family don't have any clue

what hell I'm going through, and it makes me angry that if I killed myself

they'd think I " wimped-out " .....

Anyhow, enough of the pity-party.......Here are the questions.

I went to a naturopath last week. She plans to have me swallow a

" transmitter " of some sort and then strap a belt around my waist that

communicates with it to test my level of stomach acid. Have you heard of

this? She said that people with diabetes and with RA (I have both) tend to

have low levels of acid and don't digest their food/supplements properly.

Any thoughts about this?

She did some blood tests for food sensitivity. I checked negative for both

wheat and dairy. But I've noticed lately that my heart races and almost

beats out of my chest after eating bread. Any ideas?

Thanks,
