Ronni, I am wondering if the lasix might influence the hair test results. I know for sure that lasix will take down the serum calcium and potassium, but I don't know what it would do to the levels of other elements or if this would be reflected in hair. I think Andy would be the only person who might know. Is your husband on lasix because of high blood pressure? or some other reason? I'll write more later. I'm having some difficulties right now. Guest guest
Ronni, I used Andy's hair test book to apply the counting rules. http://www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html According to my count the test meets counting rule number 4. I think that means that mercury poisoning is probable, and the potentially toxic elements are not necessarily truly reflective of body burden. Do you think meeting the counting rules is enough to influence hubby to at least start amalgam removal?? I still don't know if the lasix could have done something strange to the test. Just wondering if there might be typos in these lines (but I don't think that would change the count): > Strontium .26 .30-3.5 yellow mid > Iron 32 5.4-13 yellow under > Rubidium .019 .011-.012 green under > Zirconium .89 .20-.44 center mid J > > > > Ok ...first things first.... > > > POTENTIALLY TOXIC ELEMENTS > element result ref range color > ============================================= > aluminum 5.6 <7.0 green > antimony .2 <.0666 red > arsenic .32 <.08 red > beryllium ooooo > bismuth .057 <.06 green > cadmium 2.3 <.15 red > lead 18 < 2 red > mercury .82 <1.1 red > platinum 00000 > thallium 00000 > thorium 00000 > uranium .13 <.06 yellow > nickel .21 <.4 green > silver .83 <.12 red > tin .91 <.30 red > titanium .53 <1.0 green > ESSENTIAL AND OTHER ELEMENTS > element result ref range color under/over 50% > ============================================================ > Calcium 253 200-750 green under > Magnesium 17 25-75 yellow under > Sodium 6 12-90 yellow under > Potassium 9 9-40 green under > Copper 14 10-28 mid center > Zinc 120 130-200 yellow under Manganese .63 > .15-.65 green over > Chromium ,71 .20-.40 yellow over > Vanadium .12 .018-.065 yellow over > Molybdenum .086 .025-.064 yellow over > Boron 9.5 .40-3 red over > Iodine .91 .25-1.3 green over > Lithium .004 .0007-.023 red under > Phosphorus 147 160-250 yellow under > Selenium 1.3 .95 -1.7 mid center > Strontium .26 .30-3.5 yellow mid > Sulfur 51300 44500-52000 green over > Barium .68 .16- 1.6 green under > Cobalt .013 .013-.035 green under > Iron 32 5.4-13 yellow under > Germanium .041 .045-.065 yellow under > Rubidium .019 .011-.012 green under > Zirconium .89 .20-.44 center mid > this is a DDI test taken in June of this year > here are the ratios. > element ratio expected range > ca/mg 14.9 4-30 > ca/p 1.72 .8-8 > na/k .667 .5-10 > zn/cu 8.57 4-20 > zn/cd 52.2 >
