Guest guest
Hi Just thought I write, Ainslie's visit went terrific, her bowel obstruction seems to have gotten smaller and her lung function , fev,has improved . It is odd though, in July it was 88%, in October it was 79%, and today it was 101%. She has been on constant clamoxyl since July and had 1 month of cipro after the October visit. We haven't been doing anything that different, although she has been skipping and dancing like nothing else, and the weather is warming up, well sometimes its warm and sometimes its not. Today we are in layers whereas for the best part of the past 2 weeks we have been between comfortable and melting. She is still going on her trial of pulmozyme next week but I doubt that she will get the 10% improvement that is required to stay on it, still its worth a try. We have our CF xmas party on Sunday, it is an outdoor gathering bbq, santa, gifts entertainment for little kids and big. Hope the weather warms up a little bit, but not too much. Terri.
