Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I took to see a pulmonary doctor last week. His 02 saturation dropped to 88 after mild exercise (walking down the hallway, and then up and down a flight of stairs). His Pulmonary function was 151. Because he does not exhibit classic signs of asthma, the pulmonary doctor thought it was a cardiac issue. Talk about a panic attack! 's heart has been stable since 1995 when he had his 3rd and last open heart surgery. We saw the cardiologist yesterday and he was confident that the problem is pulmonary, not cardiac. Any suggestions? Janet & Matt Weymouth, MA (CHARGE) 11, 11, nne 6 Ilana 15, Brittney, 15, Zachary
Guest guest
Hi Barb, Thanks for the reply. We saw Dr. Shiels at Childrens. I have to get back in to see her. He has had a history of always being tired and not wanting to do anything too strenuous. It's unclear whether he can take steroids as he already takes adderall and lisnopril for high blood pressure. Bump Bump, Bump Bump (think theme from Jaws) just when you thought it was safe to go into the water...............................
