Hello, I am back from San Francisco and catching up on my reading.

I will talk about ALA dosage in another post. I was responding to

T.K.'s comments regarding being careful in getting advice and

dealing with practitioners etc...I really like the people/at the

detox clinic I have been going to...they seem sincere and I am truly

getting the idea directly of how important, really important

nutrition is...probably the most important element of health next to

genetics. Anything going into your body is going to have an impact,

negative, positive or at best neutral. I would put mercury on this

list as " something going into your body... " But, I am somewhat

skeptical of the protocols I have experienced. One in particular.

A device where electric current passes over two plates, and

creates " an ionic charge. " You put your feet in water with this

device and supposedly it " pulls the toxins out of you...by the

bottoms of your feet. " The water turns a variety of colors based on

the types of toxins that come out and what organ...It smells like

snake oil to me! (the use of this device) The color of the water

did turn brown and rusty....and I was told that this is toxins

coming out from my gallbladder...but the device itself is rusty...so

who knows? I saw it used on another person and her " foot water "

turned a nice shade of pink/orange. Salt was added to the water to

help the charge...the device is called electro-cleanse. I believe

the people using it, believe it works so I do not fault them for

using it...but I think it is fake. Any ideas? Thanks Paradise.
