If anyone wants to get on, send me a note and I will add you manually. That might be the easiest way. Last night, BL and I tried to send messages back and forth and they were taking up to 45 minutes to post. I also had the same trouble with a search. Hi Irene, This is another list or group with the same name but with CHAT at the end so us chatty people will not bother the others when we chat with eachother. It was made with no disrespect to anyone. I believe that Sher made it up. Since Yahoo seems to still be amess, this new group has been hard to access. Basically, that's all there is to it. and I got to talking about it privately and I had the time at that moment to do the footwork of setting it up. Regarding this " list owner " thing: I was thinking about it while I was driving home (traffic sucked) and I've decided that I am not a " list owner. " Everyone owns it...and everyone there will determine how it goes. I just don't like the authoritarian sound of " list owner " ....so I decided to call myself " the secretary. " I just do the grunt work so that no one else has to. As Janice said, too, it was not created with the intent to disrespect this list at all. In fact, it was created as a result of *respect* for this one. I know my chattiness...and the chattiness of some others...is troublesome so this seemed like the logical solution.
