Hi ,

Glad to hear that you're having a great day.

Since a tattoo might seem too permanent - what about having a henna

" tattoo " (mehndi, I believe it is called)? They last a few weeks and

seem like a great way to experiment with body art.

All the best,

Kay

!

That is an excellent way to celebrate the "new" you! I am going to get another tattoo myself once I have reached the end of the long road ahead of me. I have orientation on May 6th and initial appt with Dr. Baggs on May 14th.

I was thinking of getting some sort of vine with flowers in various stages of blooming along it, and placing it over the scar I end up with. If the scar isn't so bad, or long, then I will just opt to have a butterfly coming out of a cocoon on a shoulder blade. Smallish of course. The one thing about tattoos is the artist that does it. Some insist on a larger tattoo to get more detail, so the less detail you want, the smaller it can be. Or go on to another artist. Some are way more talented than others

Hey, I'm 53 and I'm thinking of getting a tatoo when I hit 199 after surgery. Maybe a small butterfly (very fitting) on my ankle, cuz by then I won't have Kankles! LOL At least I hope not.

Tattoos are fun, choose where to put it so that it only shows if you

want it to. I have one on my hip and one on my breast.

Belly button piercings are problematic because they tend to scar badly

and are prone to infections. My friends who are into piercings talked

my daughter out of it.

Have fun!
