Hi all!

I am new to the group and have been lurking for a couple of days...

Have read the most recent posts and thought I'd introduce myself.

My name is and I live in Orlando, FL with my DH and three DD

(ages 11, 8, and 1). Have had FM and CFS for about 2 years now. I

get the following as my " bonus prizes " : migranes, restless legs,

IBS, jaw clenching (in my sleep), body soreness from my knees up to

the top of my head, and constant fatigue.

Right now I just try to force myself through my days - I have to for

the sake of my DD's. But to be honest, there are days where guilt

sets in because I am just not up to doing things with them that they

want me to do (going to the park, exercising, playing outside, going

to the mall etc). It is hard to get motivated when no amount of

sleep makes you feel rested.... But most of the time, if I can just

get going, I am okay (at least until I stop - He He!)

My pains seem to range between my knees to the top of my body,

focusing mainly in my torso area (especially under my ribs and in my

back between my shoulder blades). Nothing seems to help the pain and

sometimes it hurts so bad that it hurts for my DH to hug me. I am

looking for non Rx suggestions on this one and for the fatigue. I too

have found that 3 Advil work better for me than any of the Rx they

can give. If anyone has any suggestions or tips I would love to see

them posted!

I can relate to the jaw clenching. I know that I do not grind my

teeth as I have been to the dentist more times than I care to talk

about due to extensive dental work and my dentist has never mentioned

it (believe me, he would have if it were true!). I will wake up at

night and my teeth are just shut tight together and I have to

consciously make myself relax my jaw. Sometimes this takes a bit of

doing!

Anyway, I look forward to sharing ideas and experiences with everyone!
