Guest guest Posted August 1, 2003 Report Share Posted August 1, 2003 My dad's surgery went well. HE is currently recovering and the surgeon said he was doing great. He was very optimistic about his recovery. He was sure that Dad would be well enough to travel to get a second opinion. So, we scheduled him an appointment with Dr. Silberstein at the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. We are not expecting him to give us a cure, but rather some hope. Dad's cancer had eaten through the bowel walls, but not he fatty layer. He lymph nodes did test positive for cancer, but they are pretty sure that those were removed.
