Thanks so much for answering. I've noticed that this has been getting worse for

me over the past year. I at first thought that entering my 30's was causing

" changes " .

I appreciate your input, I don't really have anyone to ask that's female that

has FMS, and I have a doctor's appointment Monday. I have quite a severe pain

on the left side of my right breast and a VERY tender spot there. This seems to

increase dramatically during this time.

All I want to do also is take naps, but when my son naps is the only time I

really have on here and to get household things done. Of course, I don't do too

much at once, or I pay later : ).

This being our first year in our new home, I'm hoping that my doctor can give me

some meds with results as I am looking forward to attempting some winter folly

with my son if we get snow. I couldn't imagine it right now, and he's three.,

so I can't avoid it.

I hope I'm breaking my paragraphs up ok for everyone to read. I am trying to

remember every time if I am posting a long one : )

You are not alone. Yes my symptoms get much much worse with my period

coming and then I'm in agony for a couple of days when it does come.

Hello everyone. I have yet another question. This is for the ladies of the

group, if this applies. Do you find that your symptoms increase TEN fold as

your cycle approaches? I don't know if it is due to water retention or

what, but I feel ten times worse.

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it. My fatigue doubles too (as if that's

possible?) : )

Re: Good Thursday Afternoon

Michele,

I feel a more intense feeling of being tired. Work was really hard today

all I wanted was to lay down all day and I had to work. I hope this helps.

Michele,

Hi I am glad that you asked that, if I remembered I would have :)

Yes, I do have a more harder time when it is time. I just marked it up like

another symptom of our wonderful FM. Pain and really cranky, well harder to

control my crankiness, since I sometimes get that way from the pain, but it

seems to be worse at that time, and it never did before.

I DEFINATELY have worse FMS during menstruation. My Neurologist told me a

long time ago that Fibromyalgia is triggered by hormones. In fact, he has

told me (his words, not mine) that men cannot get FMS that it is strictly a

female disorder. I just smile and nod.

Well, with testosterone being a male hormone and estrogen being female, and IF

FMS is strictly hormonal (I don't know, just theorizing here) then men and women

most definately can get it! Of course, I would smile and nod too.

Thanks for taking the time to answer! : )
