In response to the post on ear tubes/drainage:

My daughter (age 8) has craniosacral therapy once or twice a week, started about

a year ago or so. I think it has helped with many things. My daughter does

sound a bit less congested. I know that whenever we go in and she is

particularly congested they work on the fluids and she sounds much better after

a treatment. More remarkably for us, it reversed her scoliosis. I was in fear

we were headed for a brace and much to my surprise the next visit to the ortho

doc showed her scoloisis was only 9 degrees. Craniosacral therapy can also help

with reflux and lots of other issues. They also do work in her mouth to help

advance her feeding skills, etc. It is important to find someone who works

with children. There are therapists closer to us, but we go to a practice where

they treat lots of special needs kids. There is certainly no harm in trying the

therapy and you may see good benefit from it.

Oh...and my daughter LOVES going in for treatments. She feels better

afterwards.

That is right, Dylan lies right down for his treatment. The first visit was

done at home while he was asleep, then he cried for a few. Now he knows he

feels better afterwards and does great with it. Kim
