Guest guest
CU Friends - I came from the orthopedic surgeon 1) GOOD NEWS -- I'm really happy 2) Weird News -- and really confused. Good News - All the bone tests, x-rays, and MRIs are negative for bone problems!! What a relief!! What a hard wake-up regarding 'all you were afraid to know about Prednisone -- so don't ask' -- sounds like a book title. One of us could collect all the Prednisone stories and horrors and write a book. We could then see you on the book signing tours! Bad News - Still have the very REAL pain. Now I have no simple cause. The Orthopedic guy wants me to see a neurologist. The neurologist will do their top ten things and then the shrink will be next -- I just know it. Fact is pain is all in your head. Everything we perceive is registered in our minds -- DUH. Truth is, to the observer - the afflicted - it is real no matter what the cause is. And I didn't need a special degree to figure that one out. So, please continue in those much coveted prayers. It still really hurts. Be Well and Happy ~Phil~
