Guest guest
Hi . I don't know if you'd say I had low motivation, but SEVERE low energy and reoccurring fatigue (with drop in temp) has been the story of my life. I was up to 6 grains of Armour at one point, along with hormones, supplements etc. The only thing it did for me was cause me to lose weight. I'm REALLY hoping that this mercury thing will be the key for me that unlocks the door. I have other symptoms of low thyroid as well such as fibromyalgia. (and a life long history of consipation till IBS set in). Carol B __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Hi! Carol- You said " was up to 6 grains of Armour. " Did you lower your dose? stop taking it? Btw, severe fatigue fits me, also. ...
Guest guest
Hi . The fatigue hasn't been as bad the past couple of years but the lack of energy remains. I still get hit with it occasionaly. My already below normal temp used to drop to 96, I'd ache all over and have a funny taste in my mouth and all I could do was SLEEP, SLEEP, SLEEP. For days and even weeks only pushing myself to go to church or prepare meals for my husband. I could always tell when it was dropping. Doctors NEVER adressed the issue. When I was single and worked (34+ years ago) there were days I was to fatigued to get out of bed. I'd call in sick and sleep ALL day and night. This was after being sick with every thing under the sun growing up and living on penicillan shots and missing alot of school. (a short summary of my 7 page health history). As to thyroid, the 6 grains of Armour caused me to lose 40 lbs. The only benefit I ever saw. I'm 5'1 " and was up to 160 lbs so it was good. I then went on a gluten free diet and lost another 5 lbs which I was told was stomache swelling going down. When I continued to lose I got scared and figured I had gone hyper. So I went down every few weeks till I was on 1 grain every other day or so. I eventually went off of it for two weeks and tested with healthcheckusa. The test showed I still needed it so I went back on (generic armour by that time). I eventually went off COLD TURKEY as I was discouraged at not getting well. Once before I was on 45 mg of Armour and 20 mg of cortef. I went off both when DH was out of work. Neither time did I experience anything negative from going off it like that. I'd love to retest through healthcheck and see where I stand. It's hard to no how much to take when I can't go by my symptoms. Carol B P.S. my weight stablized but flucuated up and down a few lbs. I am now gaining again and that worrys me. I'm up to 20 lbs and DO NOT want to gain it back. I was perfect at 115 and my chiropractor agreed. __________________________________________________
