To answer several questions ...

quoting from the physician's section of " From Fatigued to Fantastic " by

Teitelbaum, M.D.

" Immune dysfunction. Immune dysfunction has been documented in CFS. In

fact, CFS is now called chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndrome

(CFIDS). The immune dysfunction may result in recurrent infections,

often with normally nonpathogenic organisms such as Candida albicans or

bowel parasites. "

The book also contains a diagram of " The Fatigue Cycle " showing how each

thing interacts, and triggers, the next to keep the CFIDS/FMS patient in a

vicious cycle of pain.

In addition, fibromyalgia has many triggers including:

viral infection

hypothotomic dysfunction

low thyroid and adrenal function

immune dysfunction

infections (sinus, yeast, parasite, etc.)

nutritional deficiencies (poor diet)

Also, to quote,

" An important component of CFS (CFIDS) is disordered immune function, which

opens the door to repeated infections, repeated treatment with antibiotics,

and yeast overgrowth. "

Here is a journal that also discusses CFIDS in detail:
