Guest guest
Hello. Here are a few things that usually help me out when I want to rip the head off of any animate or inanimate object due to extreme irritability. First, I increase my magnesium intake. I normally dissolve a teaspoon of magnesium citrate powder into my quart sized water bottle, then drink through the day, as needed. I usually drink 2-3 bottles of this a day. When I need more magnesium, I apply a product called magnesium oil (it's not really an oil) that is reported to be much much more bioavailable than oral magnesium. This usually helps quite a bit, but if it doesn't, an acupuncture treatment is very relieving of stress, and I mellow out quite a bit. If I am out of alignment in my neck or back, I will go see my upper cervical chiropractor and that ALWAYS gives me tremendous relief from aches, pains and emotional upsets like irritability. If you are interested in chiropractic, try finding one that adjusts the atlas. I cannot say enough about how much this has improved my quality of life. Finally, what helped me generally improve my moods and emotions was to increase my 5-HTP and tyrosine intake. These are both precursors for crucial neurotransmitters (serotonin and dopamine, respectively). dave

Dave, Where do you get your magnesium citrate powder? I found a combination Ca, Mg, vit D powder at iherb, but I thought someone said to take Ca and mg at different times. Tk, Can you think of any reason not to use this one as a source of Mg? http://www.iherb.com/calmag9.html Thanks
Guest guest
FOR TK: I use a magnesium product called Natural Calm which is a highly absorbable form of magnesium citrate.
