I made a comment once to my insurance company, who was stressing me out about prescriptions, etc. I said, " Do you realize that FM can flare from stress? " The person of course did not know this. I said, " Well, it does. My husband pays $50 a week so we can have good medical coverage, so stop stressing me out! " I got a lot done after that comment : ) I hope you get some rest. I know I could use it too. If that's not enough to stress someone out i don't know what is. Maybe you or someone else can answer a question for me. With this fibro-fog world in which we live i might have even dreamed this, i don't know. We have always had a drug card in the past ,you paid your co-pay and went along your merry way, but we have since changed co. We pay up front now and then get reimbursd at the end. I never dreamed how expensive this medication could be, you have to fill up a form which is 10 med. well, that came to $389.39 and before i could(and still haven't rec'd any reimbursement i've had to have a different set filled which was$333.37 and i still lack 3 more meds to complete the sheet to mail in, that's a lot of money especially if you are self employed and our co. is only a little over 2 yrs. old. Do you know of anyplace that can help you buy your meds. As of right now i take 19 different meds. a month. 2 for b/p,1 for thyroid, 1 for sinus, 1 for hormones then the rest is to combat the fms and cfs. Although i do the books for the co. i don't draw a salary, maybe next yr. depends on how fast we grow. I was just wondering if there was any help out there. My husband is gone all day and even though my daughter and granddaughters live next door, I still have long conversations with my cat. I was telling the cat across the street that he was getting a little plump when I saw my next door neighbor at her door. I swore that I did not mean her and that I was really talking to a cat. The only thing I know of to help pay for prescriptions is for CFIDS sufferers, and I don't know how that applies to Fibromyalgia. I'm sorry I couln't be of more help, but I'm in the same boat. Of course, he is trying to get used to the FM, but it's hard for him. No excuses here, he's just a pain to get to understand about illnesses. Especially one he considers " invisible " .
