Thanks for ur reply. I am so shocked and disappointed because Mihir

is my first child.

I forgot to mention that his eyes were checked and they r fine, when

I came to know this I am so relieved because I know how hard it

would be if there is a problem with them, all the world around is

blind L. I did call Mihir's pediatrician today, he said VCUG is not

required for him and suggested a Renal scan, I read abt the

procedure I am just scared .

When Mihir's right ear failed newborn hearing screening test, he was

given an appt when he is abt 1 month old—when we went, the

instrument or what ever didn't work, so he was scheduled another one

when he is 3 months old—that was on DEC 10, then he was evaluated

for abt 2 hrs and then the result said that his right ear which is

not formed properly & has a narrow canal as well failed completely—

so I think it is not working at all and luckily the nerve is fine,

so there r chances that an hearing aid might work. BTW his left ear

seems to be fine, there MAY be a mild loss. I will soon contact my

Audiology dept to check when is it a good time for hearing aids.

Do u know Puspa's ID? The reason why I asked for Indians is—we might

leave USA sometime next year so just want to get a list of DOCS in

India that r connected with CHARGE.
