This is dropped, and i am also very sick....I just felt that you were talking down to me....I am extremely intelligent and felt that you were insulting it. Thats all. I am very communicative, and if I feel something l get my point across....I too see "cutting edge" specialists all over NYC....its fine...neither one of us know more than the other, its obvious that we both do our share of research and know a lot of information...so dont say you dont want to help me, because I would never say something like that to you.....because we know so much, we can help each other....

as false positive. I also have a false positive lyme titer and when they

did the western blot it was neg...the anti-gliadin for celiac which is

positive.....was positive...but there are two other stronger markers in your

blood called anti-endomysial antibody & transglutaminase these were both

negative....this information........especially since the actual small bowel

was actually negative proves that there is a false positive and any doctor

that tells you that people with autoimmune diseases cannot have all sorts of

falso positives of all thes immune disorders are wrong....................

False Positive tests are blood tests done in a fashion designed to show up a

specific marker to confirm a diagnosis. (I'm sorry if I sound like I'm

talking down to you, I don't know what you do or do not know about this

stuff.)

There is no single test that can establish the diagnosis of Crohn's disease

with certainty. Crohns disease does not have False Positive blood test

markers. It dose have antibody markers. When markers for this disease show

up in your blood test they are specific markers to specific tests. Usually

markers for inflammation not unlike sarcoidosis eg. ESR CRP ACE. But it also

has pANCA and ASCA antibodies show at times. I have the ASCA I think? I

forget, but one of them shows up.

You may wish to check out run by the Crohn's and Colitis foundation of

ednoscopy section which explains how you can have inflammation show up on

biopsy like you did.

Celiac disease runs in my family so I have a fair knowledge of it. Even if I

did NOT have any idea of it, let me tell you something.

1) If I knew nothing about a test I would not say anything or I would

research it. Usually though, I would not say anything.

2) What I do know I have learnt from experience. That is via personal

experience with excellent doctors including a pathologist - not any

pathologist, but pathologist who is director of immunology and microbiology.

I'm not saying this to sound big headed, just that I don't jump in with

anything I don't know.

Now, I am very glad that your biopsy was negative for celiac disease,

however please don't go jumping down my throat or anyone elses throats when

you don't know all the facts about every single disease. No one does. I was

just offering you alternatives. Ones that DO exist. Here is your fact. If I

am wrong, then so is every pathology laboratory in the USA, the UK, Europe,

Australia and so on.

Additional Information

-The presence of antibodies to any one or a combination of three serum

markers (gliadin, reticulin, and endomysium) associated with a history of

gastrointestinal disorders is consistent with a diagnosis of celiac disease

or dermatitis herpetiformis, which are caused by sensitivity to gluten.

Strict avoidance of gluten in the diet will control disease activity, and

antibodies to serum markers will disappear with time.

I never said I had Crohns disease. I've had a colonoscopy too. I also have a

positive ANCA, but its the cANCA.

Please just drop this. Who needs a " I know more than you " thing? I was only

trying to help you. I will remember not to do that again.

Now Im going to dissappear, I'm really sick. (Funnily enough)

also, if you read, it says the presence of the three markers as I said to

you.....you only mentioned you have the presence of one marker.....the other two

are the stronger antibody markers not the asca....with the asca and not the

other two you have no proof to go by.
