Guest guest
Hi all, I have made it to Delft, Nederlands for the next 5 nights post op. Dr. DeSmet gave me a great package iof post-op traveling oaoers,, including documents for traveling, medical assistance, a pre and post op x-ray, and papers documenting the drugs. (injectable fraxiparene),., and my BHR serial numbers. I had wheelchair assistance for the train from Gent, I needed that help. Although I can walk about a block, rest and walk some more, I tire easily. My op leg pinches and the muscles on the outside and the incision are sore. I need chairs that are big enough to sit in without rubbing on the incision too much. I am glad for the info on taking it easy healing with soft bones, as Dr. DeSmet said mine was soft. My cane chair has been great. I got it from Magellan's for 25 bucks and spent a little more to put padding on the handle and a new center bottom piece... it has three feet, opens up like a tripod with a seat. Delft is a beautiful city to recoup in. We can go for short walks and see plenty. We have also had a royal welcome here. My ex husband's wife made dinner with dessert, and also served me a liquid, warm, European style painkiller (she is a nurse. And here I am posting.
