Guest guest Posted September 8, 2003 Report Share Posted September 8, 2003 Hi, All. Hope everyone is well. I am about 3 weeks shy of my 1-year wls anniversary. I've lost 141 lbs., from 319 to 178, and I feel so much better. I'm still losing weight, sometimes without much effort. I'd kinda like to get to where the charts say I should be, which is about 165 lbs. However, too many people are now telling me that I need to stop losing, or even pick up a few pounds. I still see myself as slightly overweight at 5' 9 " and 178 lbs. I'd appreciate it if some of you could share your experiences with reaching goal weight, the tapering off of weight loss, and maintenance. The weight loss does stop on it's own, right?
