Hey ya'll,

Sorry for typing a bit late, since I been online on and off, lol!

Anyway, I got a couple of questions to ask you. Well, I was just

wondering/curious....can a CHARGEr (like me, keith, or other mild-form

CHARGErs for ex) have children, like regular people do? Cuz, I never

seen or met a CHARGEr with babies/children before.

Oh Yeah, I did hear from Yuka, 's mom, that there is a CHARGE

parent (I mean a CHARGEr who's a mom/dad) on this list, and he got

children with or without CHARGE. What is his name and his email address?

So, I can discuss with him about his experience having children. So that

maybe some day, if I met another female, mild-form CHARGEr (like me) and

if we really like each other a lot, and decided to be a cute couple, get

marry and so on....and what if we decide to have children, so I will

remember what 1 CHARGEr mom/dad once told me with his/her experience,

right?

Oh Well, sorry for the late letter and so on....It just that, I just

thought about it today, and wanted to know what will it be like if I

have a child in the future with or without CHARGE?

Oh Yeah, one more question....phew, sorry about that....if 2 CHARGErs

decided to have kids, what is the percentage/ratio haveing them having a

CHARGE child? What about a CHARGEr and a non-CHARGEr? What is the

percent/ratio of them haveing a CHARGE child (I mean, for both of these

question, is it like 50-50 chance of having one, or no, for ex)? Oh

chip I have to tell you I love it when you write . it always gives me

so much hope for wes. I see so much of you in him or maybe its the

other way around. anyways Im not an expert. but I was told there

aren't many chargers who have had kids for a couple reasons. one

being medical tec. wasn't as good before and charge kids didn't

often live long enough to try. and the other being the G in charge .

because there is usually something missformed or missing with the genitals

that also makes it

hard.

on the other hand wesley has nothing on his chromosomes and I

understand if they say charge association and not charge syndrome that

there is nothing on the chromosomes so I dont know that is something

that would be more likely to pass on. would like to see what one of

the experts has to say about it.

I remember at the conference in St. Louis they showed a family of 5. The mom

had a mild form of CHARGE and she had three boys and they all had CHARGE. Maybe

Meg can touch more on this issue. I think about it often, for my kids having

children.

Chip I think the chances of a charger having a charger is very high.

I dont want to try and see, I would rather just adopt cause I dont

want to take the chance of havning a child with charge. If two down

syndrom ppl have a child I think its automatic that they have a

child with downs. I think the same goes for a lot of other genetic

stuff.

Well I wish I could have kids though. I would love to have one or

two children that could grow inside me but what about hart issues

and health for females? If I had doner egg, could I still carry a

child without jeperdizing my health???
