Guest guest
Hi there, I was sick throughout my whole pregnancy and I was VERY VERY sensitive to dumping during. Bread with sugar more than 6grms would send me to the toilet. Pre-pregnancy I could eat about 11-13grms of sugar and be ok. I think it's different for everyone and not everyone gets sick, for those that do my best advice is to really listen to your body. I had to stop taking vitamins, I could not eat ANY protein and I ate basically what I could keep down which wasn't much. I did need help for the first *few* months and then got the hang of feeling icky and it let up a bit and I was able to manage as long as I ate every hour. (yup, that's right every hour! even at night the hubby would get up to make me something because if I let myself get hungry I would have dry heaves and not be able to eat at all) Best of luck to you...it's all worth it in the end. ~Ann RNY-lap 09-00 Preof Weight 265+ Current Weight 133 (10 weeks post partum) Mommy to - Kaarina Honor - born 01-17-02 (6lbs 8ounces) > I thought I'd respond to your post julie...
