Guest guest
Hi everyone.... I've been meaning to add my two cents to the discussion regarding our taking antidepressants. I, too, felt like I was being accused of having some sort of character flaw when my doctor suggested that I take them. Finally, someone explained to me that there is a good reason to take them. It seems that when the body is dealing with pain, a chemical change occurs that contributes to the depression (in addition to the havoc that the ups and downs of prednisone will cause). I wish I could find the post that explained it so well to me......it makes a whole lot more sense than this post :-) Anyway, I don't feel guilty or ashamed any more. take care, Connie
