Hi and Debby and all-

I'm very unhappy because I'm afraid another month has gone by without me

being able to get pregnant. So I apologize about the nasty doctor comment.

Rationally, I know that's just the way it is but that's poor comfort. I'm

just so tired of being tired and everything that goes along with being

hypothyroid.

I have been trying to figure out these doctors for years. Half of

the time I think they are afraid to say anything because of the fear

of lawsuits. But I do wonder how much they really do know about

Graves. It seems to me that they only know how to treat it and then

they leave it up to us to figure out the rest. What's unfortunate

for me is that my neurologist won't even start me on the meds for the

MS until they have my thyroid under control, I need surgery for

endometriosis and my gynecologist won't do it until they get my

thyroid under control, and I have to go for a tilt table test to

determine why I have low blood pressure, but the cardiologist won't

do it...until my thyroid is under control. I am still experiencing

the elevated heart rate and in his words...he won't touch me. When I

try to explain all of this to my endo, he says that they are all

crazy. It seems that my other doctors know more about Graves and the

impact it has on your body than my endo does. DEB

I know how you feel. The month goes by and for the last week everything goes

crazy. I used to test myself 2 or 3

times in the last few days - just hoping. I'm with you girl.

Hi ,

I know the feeling, I went through it for 9 yrs. If I was a few days late,

my husband was off for a pregnancy test. I'll keep praying for you.

Thanks so much for the letter. I'm also glad to hear that you're doing so

much better.

I forgot how bad infertility is. What a rollercoaster! And I know what you

mean about testing. I do the same thing.

Thanks Debbie! It's so weird, the time passes so fast. I was so hopeful

this time because I got a positive ovulation predictor (usually I get

negatives).

No worries .

I'm making myself some promises this time around - when I get the OK from the Dr

to start trying to get pregnant.

I'm not going to buy a pregnancy testing kit to keep in the drawer (just in

case). I'm not going to let myself be

consumed with thoughts of " am I pregnant this month, etc " and I'm not testing

until I'm at least 3 days overdue.

I hope I can keep these promises.
