6 week x-rays show heterotopic bone

Had my left hip six week x-rays taken by a local ortho MD here in

Long Island. On the x-rays he spotted a cloudy area to the right of

the implant. Said it was heterotopic bone forming in the muscles. A

call to Dr Mont's office to discuss the formation revealed that about

50% develop the condition, and it was likely nothing to worry about.

Will find out more after they examine the x-rays next week, and if it

is nothing to worry about. Barry
