Hi everyone,

I can't get over all the new names on this site. It's amazing that

once you feel better the need to come back here diminishes....kind of

like growing up and leaving " mommy " . Life is so intense when you are

in the thick of things.

I am 6 months post op and right back in the swing of things. Working

full time, up and down ladders on construction sites, delivering and

unloading materials for my crews and back to haunting them. I do get

a little tired at the end of the day and the old limp makes itself

knows....still working with PT for that one. Summer is busy on the

farm as well, 2000 bales of hay in the mow so far,...had to adjust

some of my work methods there, but I managed. The clutch on the

tractor is a bit stiff so by the end of the day I have to lift my

poor leg on it to push it down and reverse is a bit tricky because I

have to twist to see where I am going ....makes the guys on the wagon

hook up a little nervous but I haven't lost my aim :)

Most important change for me since surgery...all you women will

appreciate this, is I can finally bend well enough to shave my legs

normally ....yahoo!

All the best.

Dannielle
